American Craft Council St. Paul Show
The American Craft Council (ACC) Show is returning to the Saint Paul RiverCentre, April 10-12, 2015, and will feature more than 225 of the country's top contemporary craft artists presenting their latest handmade creations in jewelry, clothing, furniture and home décor. This year, ACC is partnering with ASID MN for a special home décor exhibition, "Make Room: Modern Design Meets Craft." With a theme of "4 Elements," ASID interior designers will create room vignettes inspired by fine craft that visually communicates one of Mother Nature's most awe-inspiring design elements — earth, air, fire or water.
Featuring Two Special ASID Events, Each Part of Midwest Home Design Week:
Join ASID Minnesota for an inspirational discussion on Trend Chasers vs. Style Makers. Coco Chanel, Andy Warhol, Jackie Kennedy, Madonna. What do they have in common, besides being famous? They are genuine fashion icons whose style quotient dictated every aspect of their being. How do we find our style? How do we bring that style to fruition? How do we avoid the chase for trend?
New this year: 10 local design firms will curate and display a collection of their favorite iconic interior design pieces — Traditional, Transitional, and Modern — during the reception.
Saturday and Sunday, April 18-19. Both days 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
The ASID MN Designer Kitchen Tour is a one-of-a-kind boutique event featuring more than ten homes throughout the Twin Cities. This year's tour offers a variety of styles and budgets, which feature some of the latest trends in kitchen products and décor. These are real kitchens for real people, professionally designed by American Society of Interior Design (ASID) designers.
